My name is Dash DeFelice and I have loved fishing all my life. Ever since I picked up a rod at the age of 4 there has been nothing I'd rather be doing in my free time than fishing. My goal is to help younger kids that have always wanted to fish make their dreams come true by teaching them the ropes, whether it comes to tying knots, learning how to cast, knowing what lures and baits to use, but also helping them learn and explore something new. I am 15 and currently a rising junior at Greenwich High School who works at the Sportsman's Den tackle shop in Cos Cob, I am a certified lifeguard, and I row crew year round.
I have taught kids how to fish in the past in Cape Cod, MA, and I am looking to expand my business back home for the summer. I am looking to help teach kids from ages 9-13, that are either beginners or experienced kids. If your child was just starting out fishing the first couple sessions would look like teaching them the basics whether it's casting or learning how to take care of their equipment. After they have learned all of that we would start to go out and try and tackle some real fishing. If your child already has that background in fishing we would go straight to the action.
